Due to the extra cold temperatures and weather this year in Washington, DC, and donations from schools, we were able to deliver 120 blankets
to local charities.
- 65 blankets were donated to Lutheran Social Services LSSNCA.org. They have one of the largest refugee resettlement programs and also provide services for teens and young adults with HIV/AIDS.
- 55 blankets were donated to Community Family Life Services CFLSDC.org. This service provides transitional housing for families. Happy to receive homemade blankets. Prefers variety of types, so clients can select what best suits them.
Thank you for the generosity of those that have donated! For anyone interested in donating, please let us know. Check out our FAQs
page to learn more about Blanketing DC.
